1979 Dodge Other Pickups Lil' Red Express Additional Info:
1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express with Factory A/C (Upgraded with new compressor and 134a). This is a great survivor truck out of Florida, it was sold new in Largo and lived here for 38 years. I acquired it about 4 months ago from a shop that had it for years. It was a restoration that was started and never finished. Since the bed was off, I restored the wood and bed and had everything repainted. I put new logos and pin striping on as well. The motor, trans and rearend are original. the only things that are not original are the wheels (American Racing Torque Thrus, they look really nice, bringing out the gold lettering), upgraded A/C compressor to go 134a, and the carb (I put a Edelbrock 600 on it, the original Thermoquad comes with the truck)
This is a super solid truck and will be great for someone who wants a driver restoration project. There are plenty of small things left to do to add value to this truck.
This is the second LRE I have rescued and brought back to life. I know what they are worth and what they will be worth in the future. These trucks are growing in value everyday. I priced the last truck (non-A/C) at $16,000 buy it now. the auction ended at $16,002. This truck will be listed at $17,000 and I am sure it will get there as well. I left plenty of value in the truck for the next owner to make a profit. I reserve the right to end the auction early as I have it listed on CL locally.
Good luck bidding, and message me with any questions.
