1926 Dodge Other Additional Info:
Ladies and gentlemen, this car is the real deal. It belonged to Leo J. Bongers, of David City, Nebraska.
It was part of a museum collection, which was never built. As it was his life long dream, with his passing, the family and State had no funds to build the facility.
As such, the entire collection was sold. He had owned the car since 1993. Along with the car, I have the Book of Information from the Dodge Brothers, the suggested lubricants for the car, the owners manual, the original North East Electrical Equipment guide for electrical repairs, the original story from Nebraska News paper describing the day of the auction, Polaroid pictures after the sale, and the car being loaded on the trailer to come to California. It has a clear California title.
The pictures speak for themselves, all running gear and interior are original. It is believed that the car was painted in the 50's.
