A rare classic truck with a mean attitude and a nice price - that's why we all love this 1967 Dodge D100. Mopars are always the rarest of The Big Three, and so just arriving in one can already make you feel like you're in exclusive company. But more than just rarity, you want this pickup for its aggressive appearance. After all, red with matte black trim is both appealing and intimidating. Plus, the sheetmetal on these D100s is one... of the coolest truck designs. The later D100 dome hood hints at extra power underneath, and the sweeping line that starts at the headlights and runs the full profile is something you'd expect on a '60s sport coupe, not a workman's vehicle. Plus, the addition of the forged-style Cragar wheels add plenty of flash. But this looker also knows how to work as hard as you - just look at the large bed covered in liner paint. Inside, the red and black theme continues. It starts with the recently recovered black bench seat. This coordinates nicely with the newer carpeting and headliner. The two-spoke steering wheel has that perfect vintage truck feel, and the dash-mounted gear selector has the versatility of a floor shift without taking up extra space. It has an overall feeling of tough simplicity you love in a classic pickup, but that red on the dash also reminds you this is an aggressive machine even before you turn the key. While the interior and exterior have subtle intimidating elements, the engine bay almost screams power. After all, those metallic blue Moroso valve covers and air topper are anything but understated. It's also a well-earned aggression, because the 383 cubic-inch V8 is a terrific powerhouse. This big block inhales deeply with a Demon four-barrel carburetor, and exhales through long tube headers that feed the thunderous dual exhaust. This was built to handle the extra muscle with great upgrades like steel braided hoses and an aluminum radiator. And making sure this power gets to the road is Chrysler's stout A727 Torqueflite three-speed automatic transmission and a wide set of Grand Am GT tires in the rear. Rarity, intimidation, and power, this Dodge D100 is a standout classic pickup at quite an affordable price. Don't miss out, call today!
