Mopars always attract attention because they are the rarest of The Big Three. But when you can pick up a 1967 Dodge Dart that has had a ton invested in a full restoration (beautiful paint, A/C interior, big power V8, upgraded suspension, and more) this one gets to draw a crowd for far more than just its rarity. The sheetmetal on this one looks amazing thanks to over $6k spent in 2014 on the paint and body alone. And that's... a good thing, because it means this hardtop retains the finely creased lines that make it the blocky looking bad boy. And this intimidation factor is only elevated by pieces like the blacked-out hood, hood louvers, and rear sports stripe package. This is balanced out by a show-worthy shine on the classic chrome bumpers and modern Burnt Orange Metallic paint. And the worlds of premium and power perfectly come together on the large American Racing Torq Thrust wheels that are staggered 18/20 inches front/rear for a terrific stance. Over 9k was invested to get the custom interior looking this good. The high back bucket seats have the kind of modern bolstering to keep you comfortable all day long. Plus, you have a custom cup holder center console - so this is a big improvement over anything from the '60s. That console also houses the best upgrades. On the luxury side, that includes R134a air conditioning and the AM/FM/CD receiver with modern Bluetooth, and a full subwoofer stereo system. On the performance side, this has a So-Cal auxiliary gauge trio, a matching large tach, and a B&M ratchet shifter. And while it's nice to see that they kept the dashboard looking stock, from the moment you turn the key, the growl of this Dart lets you know there's something special under the hood. While you already know they spent a ton restoring this car inside and out, one look at the engine bay, and you can see there was plenty left in the budget for the powerhouse. Within this super clean setup, you'll find a 360 cubic-inch V8 that was stroked to 408ci total. More than just added displacement, this is a full performance professional build that includes IC757 forged pistons, SCAT crank, Eagle I-beam rods, 284 cam, Quick fuel four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake, and long tub headers that feed a thunderous dual exhaust. But don't just listen to the sound; follow its path in the undercarriage photos. There you'll also spot the full Ridetech suspension that includes tubular A-arms up front, a thick sway bar, and a beefed up rear suspension. You also have adjustable coilovers, Wilwood drilled & slotted disc brakes, and modern Nitto NT555 performance tires at every corner. So this is the classic Mopar that offers big power AND great handling. Plus, features like the four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, limited slip rear end, and power steering will probably have you thinking about joining the Power Tour. The sale comes complete with the factory buildsheet (so you know how this coupe started life) and the build receipts (so you can see how much was invested to get this one so wicked.) This is the custom classic Mopar that's sure to turn heads while you cruise in comfort. Don't let this total package slip away, call today!
