72 Challenger Rallye, 340 4Bbrl, 4 Speed, Lots of Updates and Upgrades

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye Additional Info:

Have to see this one!! 1972 Dodge Challenger, a true early 70s E-body that is attainable. It started life as a 318 with 3speed automatic but was updated to a 1972 340 engine 4 Bbrl and 4 speed manual transmission before I bought it. We got it for our 17 year old and she just didn't feel comfortable taking it to college from a reliability standpoint. The car was gone through extensively to make it safe for her including new brakes, suspension, new poly bushings everywhere, Magnaflow custom dual exhaust, New custom one-off US Mag wheels (new tires less than a year ago). We have also installed high end 3M tint all the way around including clear on the windshield. The transmission has been rebuilt and there is a new battery, voltage regulator, alternator, very cool aluminum radiator. The 340 has a complete forged bottom end with a mild cam and brand new Holly 4 barrel. Clutch, clutch plate and throw out are all new. The car drives great...much different than factory and is a blast to drive. As you can see from the pictures, it is in great shape but not perfect. The undercoating should be redone at some point and definitely could use new door panels. There is minimal rust. We bought all new weather stripping but has not been put on yet and it will all come with the car. Original wheels will also come with the car. This is a good solid driver and perfect if that is what you are looking for at a great price or a perfect project for someone looking to do a resto mod with a big Hemi and full frame and independent suspension. We have allot more invested into it than we will ever get out so hopefully someone will get a great deal and our baby will get a proper home.
