1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 Additional Info:

1994 Dodge Viper RT 10 Venom 600 Hennessey Serial # 001.
Catch it now before it goes up for sale at the Leake auction in April
It was built as a metric spec viper which is extremely hard to find and has a 320 kilometer speedo. I am unaware of any other metric black RT/10's that were ever produced. The car was sent down to Houston in the early 90's which is where John Hennessey built the very first ever Venom Viper. This car is his first one which is what kicked off the Venom series and is serial number 001.
The engine was stroked from 488ci to 520ci and was the very first stroker Viper in existence. It was most well known for its competition in the Silver State Classic. The engine was said to make over 600 crank hp normally aspirated according to people who are close to the car and know its history better than I do.
The serial plate, oiginal Silver State Classic wheels, and the original signed glove box cover by John Hennessey among other things is also included. It is registered on the international Viper registry and all documentation comes with the car.
I have had over 15 Vipers including twin turbo's etc. but this is the only one I planned to keep forever. I am toying with the idea of selling it only to buy a Lamborghini that I have my sights set on.
The car has 99562 kilometers on it which is 61865 miles.
*disclaimer* The car had an insurance claim filed on it for water damage in the past so it possesses a blue Texas title but with a "rebuilt" provision on it. I have driven the car for over 2 years problem free since then. Also, the car was originally a race car so it has some nicks, scratches, and bruises here and there that have not been fixed because I feel they are part of the story. Overall the car still shines up nice and attracts plenty of attention.
I have heard that Jay Leno owns car number #002 so if that is indeed true then you now have an opportunity to have something even more special than he has.
