1989 Dodge Dakota Sport Convertible Additional Info:
VERY RARE (I haven't been able to find exact number of 4x4 convertibles built, but I think it is less than half of a total 3759 trucks in 3 years of production 1989-91 google dodge dakota convertible to find out how rare and collectible this truck is). Up for auction is a 1989 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 Convertible, unbelievable shape -- almost everything has been rebuilt or replaced, over $10,000 in receipts since 8/2016 by 3rd owner who bought it on ebay for $8500 in 2015. New Jasper 3.9L motor was installed by 2nd owner (now has about 20k miles on it), newer clutch, rebuilt transfer-case, rebuilt transmission, newer shocks, brakes, front axels, seals everywhere (no leaks), ac system upgraded (blows ice cold) new carpet, nice dash pad with new Coverlay cover (fits amazing looks like original only better), new Coverlay door panels (looks like original only better), newer convertible top with clear back window and no rips (manually goes up and down very easy), interior is very nice all the way around 8 out of 10, same with rust free New Mexico exterior and underside 8 out of 10 -- there has been some paint work here and there but mostly original and no accidents ever, windows go up and down very nice, new Alpine cd/stereo with latest features, new high quality door speakers -- sound great, newer tires, original wheels very nice shape, new exhaust with dual pipes out of the muffler and long welded on chrome tips (no exhaust leaks at all), lights work great, 4x4 goes in and out like it should and works perfectly, shifts very quietly through all 5 gears with no grinding, clutch has no chatter or hint of slipping, I could go on and on -- this trucks runs, shifts, drives, stops like it did when it was new. I have a copy of the ebay description from the original owner in 2006 and ebay description from the 2nd owner when it was sold for $8500 in 2015 who included a file of receipts and records from new (with fairly recent work done, several $1000's in receipts and work including the Jasper motor which had 1500 miles on it at time of $8500 sale). I honestly think there has been $20,000 worth of quality work done to this truck in the last 5 years. Please call with any questions (I have 100% feedback) Dave 612-987-1878 in AZ. Bidders with less than 10 feedback must call or bid will be cancelled. I have the right to sell locally if no bids. NO RESERVE AUCTION -- good luck!
