Great 1962 Dodge Dart Restored 440 Classic Car

1962 Dodge Dart 440 Additional Info:

Fully restored 1962 Dodge Dart 440 which is good for the street or the track. Stunning car was rebuilt with a 400 Chrysler Big Block, mild cam from Hughes with 30 over pistons and 9.5:1 compression, M1 intake & Holley 750 dbl-pumper carburetor. HP exhaust manifolds with 2.5” exhaust. 727 Torque-flight automatic trans with 2500 stall converter. Has a 3.55 posi rear along with new fuel tank, gas tank, aluminum radiator and water pump. This car started life as a 4-door and was professionally re-born as a coupe, but you can't tell. Has 1960s Dodge Police wheels with nice Mopar caps & good tires. Brake system was fully rebuilt with a dual master for good stopping power. The car was repainted with a two-stage gloss black and looks great- has a couple small blemishes in the hood but hard to see. For a 1962 car this is a very straight and ripple-free body!

Professionally upholstered clean red interior with bucket seats custom door panels, headliner and windlace. A small corner in the top back of the headliner is coming out due to being tight, but it is hard to see. Very deep and plush bucket seats and nice red cut pile carpeting. The car starts right up and runs well- very fast car. I like the car but as I am only a cruiser type of guy, this is a lot of car for me. Clear title in my name. Was one of the best & rust-free candidates for the restoration out there.
