Here is a 1970 Dodge Challenger featuring an all numbers matching 383 N-code big block.

This Mopar features the rarer SE Package, and is believed to be a 13,000 mile car. Yes…. This is a factory FC7 Plum Crazy exterior car with black leather interior and the white SE top. This is a “no rust California car”, and has never been hit or wrecked showing all the original sheetmetal, cowl / radiator support, fender tag, quarters, fenders, floors and trunk. The only metal not original to the car is the hood.

The motor is a numbers matching 383 big block that has been professionally rebuilt with all the good stuff.

- Block bored .30 over

- 11:1 compression

- Remachined / shot peened stock rods

- ARP bolts

- Purple Stripe cam

- Solid lifters: 284/528 lift

- 1.6 Ratio PRW stainless roller tip rockers

- 440 Source Stealth heads

- Chromoly pushrods

- 2.14 / 1.81 intake / exhaust valves

- Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake

- Full port / polish modified plenum

- Demon 850cfm carburetor

- MSD Ignition w/ hidden kill switch

- MSD billet distributor

- Hooker Comp 1 7/8” headers

- Full stainless exhaust system

- 2 ½” exhaust tips

This is a very streetable car that has run 11.99 on a ¼ mile on 93 pump gas.

The car features the legendary TorqueFlight 727 transmission with modified pump and drum, stainless rings, Cheetah forward pattern full manual valve body and a Coan 10” competition stall converter with 3200 stall. Also featuring a B&M aluminum deep sump transmission pan, and slap stick shifter. The rear end is an 8 ¾” with Auburn pro differential, and Randy’s ring & pinion with 4.10:1 headset and bearings.

The suspension and braking features 1970 Cuda front disc brakes, “just right” rear disc brakes, front and rear sway bars, Fleet Pride custom driveshaft, and Mancinni frame connectors. There is also a Taylor battery box relocated trunk with shut-off switch.

The wheels are all NEW 15x7 and 15x8 Rallys with trim rings and centers, sitting on a set of new tires with 275’s in the rear.

This car was originally a California car until about 25 years ago. After that; it was always garage kept with very little miles put on it in all those years. The correct Plum Crazy paint was applied about 15 years ago, and has held up extremely well. ALL the sheet metal is ORIGINAL to the car with no rust or rot.

The interior is almost 100% original, and shows extremely well. How often do you see a white top / white stripe / black interior Challenger?

There has been a fair amount of work and money put into this car recently. All the necessary items that were needed for maintenance have been done. Just take a look at the list of items that were replaced within the last 5 years:

- New driveshaft

- New exhaust w/ electric cutouts

- New fuel system

- Rebuilt front / rear suspension

- New front sway bars

- New brakes

- New dash harness

You won’t find a more solid, turnkey, rare, Mopar featured in a high impact color and a numbers matching big block for the money. A lot of ads say “this car is fast and turns heads”…. This one truly defines that saying!

Just remember – the Mopar Production books show only 814 units with the JH29N VIN, and the 383 Magnum / 727 TorqueFlight combo reduces that production number to 644. Add in the rare color combination that is all correct to the fender tag, and what do we have here??? Maybe 1 of 2 ever produced??
