This Mopar A-Body convertible started life as a GT, but now carries all the badging, stripes, and markings of a GTS. The body is laser straight, with all new badging and reworked bumpers and trim. Bump the starter and the fuel-injected 5.7 Hemi roars to life through custom TTI headers andexhaust with factory reproduction tips. The Tremec 5 speedis geared for quick starts and smooth acceleration or relaxed highway cruising under 2500 rpm @ 70 mph.The 8 3/4 posi with 3:23 gears has new axles, seals and bearings and is very tight. This combination easily reaches mid-20 mpg cruising on the highway.
The front suspension and K-Member is a Reilly Motorsports AlterKtion setup and the rear is a Sreet-Lynx 4-bar set up. Wilwood hydroboost four-wheel disc brakes bring this light-weight A-Body to a halt quickly and smoothly. The front tires are brand new 225/45/17s and the rears are brand new 245/45/18s on Bullitt wheels giving the car a perfect stance.
Inside there are late model leather bucket seats, stock steering wheel wrapped in padding and covered with glove-soft leather, restored instrument panel with a factory appearing oil pressure gauge in place of the warning light, factory console mounted tachometer restored and calibrated for the crate Hemi, and a hidden/remote 2k watt CD/iPod stereo with subwoofer and 4 speakers.
The battery has been relocated to the trunk, front headlights have been retrofitted with real HID's, front side marker lights have been wired to repeat with the turn signals, and sub-frame connectors have been welded in.
The only thing left is to replace the carpet and restore the console. I have brand new door panels (Legendary), sill plates, ashtrays, and inside door handles that will be included in the sale.
