I have been building cars, trucks and bikes since 1965, but around 2005 I realized that I had never build one from scratch. So I went over to Home Depot and picked up some 2x3's and plywood and laid out this C cab. Once I had the basic shape I build the frame and then pick a dozen sheets of 18 gauge and built the body. The original drawing it was yellow with a turbo-charged slant 6. But I had it by the door of the shop and everyone kept touching it and the next day it would have rusty fingerprints all over it. One day I cleaned it up and painted it flat black. After that everyone started saying it looked like something from the Munster's TV show and that it looked Sinister (thus the name). Unlike a normal T Bucket frame that is 96", Sinister's wheelbase is the same as a 69 Camaro (113") and is set up to use everything from a V8 to a Slant-6 to a Viper motor.I am currently building an all steel ride for my wife based on a 1925 Dodge Opera Coupe.
