Once again another beautiful muscle car rolls into the Custom Classics show room, just in time for the cool summer & fall nights. We're past the high heat evenings and it's time for some cool cruising. We all know all too well what it costs to restore and build a muscle car and for some, the stress of writing large checks throughout that build. Fortunately for you, someone else has already done the legwork. Presented here now are the fruits of their toil and trouble for your own personal enjoyment way cheaper than it cost them to build it.This stunning 1965 Dodge Coronet Convertible was built a few years ago but still looks every bit as good as it did when first completed. This car was completely taken down and was the recipient of a rotisserie restoration. As you peer through all of our pictures you'll find nothing was left untouched, from top to the underside, and even inside the body shell, you'll find glossy Medium Blue Metalic paint. Peak your head up under the dash to check the neatness of wiring and the glossy paint on the inside firewall and you'll see the fruit of hours of labor and dedication to really make things nice under there.EXTERIOR:From the front to the back, you'll find nothing but straight body panels and beautiful chrome and stainless trim. Starting at the front end looking into its grill, every bit of the car is darn near perfect, try to find one of those grills in that condition! The front chrome bumper is lined up nicely to the grill and shows beautiful. Looking across the hood and onto the iconic styling of the hood scoop, the bodywork is stunning, both on the hood and down the sides of this Coronet. Coming around back of the car you'll find the same great looking chrome work on the tailing bezels and the rear bumper. Someone obviously spent some time on the front and rear stainless steel trim that wraps around the windshield and across the back of the convertible top as everything is top-notch quality here! Open the trunk and you find solid trunk floors and correct looking splatter paint along with some nicely gloss painted wheel wells, and finished off with a full trunk mat and a rear mounted battery. Standing back and giving the car the once over, everything was well thought out, even down to finishing off the exterior of this car with steel wheel, poor-boy hubcaps, and radial tires, securing an aggressive overall look for this car.INTERIOR:The top here was installed well and pulls up tight when closed and sits down in the well as it should when down. The interior shows well with new carpeting and seats that have also been re-covered by a professional who knows how to stretch seat covers - they really look great. To keep the look of its time, the temp, oil, and amp gauges have been hidden inside the glove box with nothing left under the dash but the tachometer for quick glances. The door panels and rear interior trim panels show very well and are just as pristine as the rest of this car.UNDERSIDE:As you raise this fully-sorted Dodge up on the lift and take a look around its undercarriage, that's you can really appreciate all the tell-tale signs of a lot of blood, sweat, and money spent on this car. The floor boards shine as much as the top side and are about as detailed as the top as well. Running across the floorboards on the underside is the 3" exhaust system that plays that glorious low-rumbling V8 tune we have all come to love and crave. Everything from the front suspension to the rear has been restored and detailed, making this one a perfect candidate for the show field. No disappointments here!ENGINE BAY:Under that hood scoop on the hood you'll find more medium blue metallic glossy paint, and a very healthy built 440, with cross-ram intake and DUAL 660 Edelbrock carbs - it really doesn't get more nostalgic and cooler than that. The perfect inner fender wells pay compliments to the jet-hot coated heads that seem to finish off the engine bay with a touch of muscle car class. How often do you find this much detailed, nostalgic muscle packed into a convertible without costing over six figures? Let us help you out... not that often! That just isn't an easy thing to find these days, especially one professionally finished with the high-quality fit and finish work one would expect with a six figure price tag. No worries though, this Dodge is priced well for the market and any buyer would be absolutely floored to park this one in their garage.
