1974 Dodge van Additional Info:

Up for auction is one very clean 1974 dodge short wheelbase van.
A true survivor with vintage dinette that converts to bed package still in place and in great shape.With Lots and Lots of SHAG carpet!
Having lived its life in dry Colorado this vintage adventure van is really very clean for its age.
Drivetrain:
The van has the 318 v8 and 3 speed column shift manual transmission.
Engine runs strong and has approximately 125,300 miles on it.
Transmission works well and the column shifter takes some getting used to but works good, clutch is good.
Brakes and suspension are in good working condition.
The tires have great tread and are not dry rotted but are more than 10 years old. 235/75-15
There is a new exhaust system in place, new starter, and new fuel pump.
The van does not have working AC but is plumbed for it, missing AC compressor.Power steering and Brakes
Body:
The body on the van is in great condition and the paint shines up great.
There is rust in the drivers side rocker panel. all other rockers and wheel wells are rust free!There are also 2 tiny rust spots on the inside windshield pillars, each side. (see pics)It will need a windshield but all other windows are in great shape.
No rear bench seat but belts are still in place
Original shag carpet in good condition, did I say SHAG? this has miles of it!
Seats are in great shape, drivers does have a few tears but are small.

the dash is very nice, does have one crack down the center
In general the interior is nice, it was never a party van. an older couple used it as their camper for many years.
I am the third owner.
electronics:
All lights work as they should.
There is a custom overhead console that houses a CB radio and 8 track player and interior light switches.
CB is missing the handheld mic but does turn on, not sure if it works.
8 track also turns on but will not play a tape but it has an FM radio band that works
Stock AM radio works
windshield wiper motor is not working
camper:
The camper setup is basically 2 bench seats that turn into a bed with a dinette table top that is part of the bed base. (see pics)

While the van is roadworthy I have only driven it locally short distances and it has been very reliable, it runs great and brakes are very good.
