The exterior is in good shape, with nearly all original parts (has replacement fender skirts). There is no rust anywhere on the body. The chrome is very nice, all the way around. There are a few very minor dings in the grill, and some scratches with rust on the front bumper. The center portion of the rear bumper has a dent and is crooked when viewed from the side. Both sides of the windshield are cracked vertically; the rest of the glass is very nice. There is some surface rust around the stripping inside the trunk lid, but the floor pan is solid and rust-free.. There are several small dents on various panels (doors, fenders) - please see photos. The car does not appear to have ever been in an accident.
Underneath, the frame rails are solid with no signs of rust. The original quarter panels are also in very nice condition, with no rust. Rocker panels are clean and solid, as are the front fenders.
The engine compartment shows 'clean dirt' and could be detailed. The starter bendix is going out, but the car is otherwise in very good mechanical condition. It drives smoothly (Fluid Drive 3) and powerfully. There is no smoke or unusual sound from the engine.
There is no simpler way to feel grand than to drive this car!
Stored in a barn for approximately 50 years!
