Originally bought new at Wil-Mar Dodge in Los Angeles in 1967, this is a one owner van!!!! This van has only been in CA, OR, and trips to Mexico, where the original 68,000 miles were driven.Original owners moved from LA to So. Oregon in 1975 and plates were switched to OR. It was driven up until the mid/late 1980's when it was put into a barn until about 3 weeks ago!!!! It still wears Pirelli CN 75 bias ply tires from the early 70's (I would switch them out).Since rescuing this van, I have gotten it running and driving. Not particularly "road worthy", but it does run and drive. It will need a tune up and brakes.Van has the first year the 318 c.i. motor was put into these vans. Transmission is a 727 3 speed auto (shifts smooth). Van also is equipped with optional 3.55 rear gears.Everything works on this van but the emergency flashers! All turn, brake, back up lights and interior lights work, as well as heater, radio, wipers, and even the left foot pedal window washer squirts on the front glass. All doors operate like new, and the Sportsman side barn door step works flawlessly.Needs a bit of interior work to fix roof fabric (I have it all) and some seat covers on front seats. Rear seats are immaculate!! All pop out windows (6 of them) work great and all glass is original. Front windows and 1/4 Windows work as they should.This van has very little rust and just surface rust at that. Pans are in excellent shape.It has been repainted once (over original blue/white) before it was put in the barn and has evidence of a small dent on the rear passenger 1/4 panel near rear light bucket.
This van is a true barn find and deserves a new life!!
