You are looking at a 1951 Dodge Second Series B3PW 1-ton Power Wagon. This truck has gone through a complete mechanical and cosmetic restoration. First, with the mechanical side, it has the original 230-cubic inch flat head six motor that has been completely overhauled. New clutch pressure plate throw-out bearing. The transmission was taken apart and repaired with whatever it needed. The drive line is all newly restored and balanced. The rear end is in good shape, and we installed a new pinion seal. The transfer case is in excellent condition, and we installed new mounts.
Wheel cylinders, brake shoes, and the master cylinder have all new fluids in the boxes. Nice clean gas tank with new gas lines. New radiator and all new hoses. The carburetor was rebuilt. Mostly new wiring or repaired wiring. All the gauges work except the gas gauge. Wipers work but are vacuum, and the heater works great.
This Power Wagon was painted a stock original color. This truck was completely taken apart and sand blasted, zero rust!! The front sheet metal was completely disassembled, and the body and paint work was done off the truck and then re-installed. All the parts fit perfectly and it has excellent body lines. All the body panels were straightened, repaired, primed three times, and blocked using urethane primer and paint. The bed sides were straightened on both sides. Brand new tailgate, all new oak floor and new painted bed strips just installed. Both front doors were taken apart and all new weather strips, wing window rubbers, and new door latches and strikers installed. Everything lubed and adjusted. All new rubber on the windshield and it still cranks open nicely. New rear window seal and all new tinted glass.
Inside we have a new stock style cardboard headliner, and new stock seat upholstery. The stock floorboards were cleaned, painted and undercoated. All the electrical works and is in excellent condition.
All the wheels were sandblasted and painted black with silver lock rings. Brand new stock-style 12-ply 900 x 16 tires and tubes were installed. This Power Wagon has the rear pintle hitch setup. The running boards are original in the front and new in the rear.
Lots of time, money, and energy was spent on this truck. This truck was restored over the winter of 2016 and has less than 50 miles on it. As you can see in the pictures, this truck is in show room condition. This old truck was made in the USA and I am very proud of that! Power Wagons are highly sought after and very rare, so have fun bidding and call for any more info. We restored this Power Wagon ourselves, so I know every inch of it.
