I don't have a lot of knowledge in vehicles so will try my best to answer any questions. I buy and sell old stuff for a living, bought this truck about probably 7-8 years ago and just had so much fun driving it that I never tried to sell it. The truck has started for me every time and runs and drives very well, I have only driven it outside of my town maybe 4-5 times and only to towns about 30 miles from me, the truck only runs maybe 45-50 on level ground at max speed, a little less uphill a little more downhill. It had just been painted when I bought it and the paint now has a few scuffs here and there. For the most part I think the truck is all original and really hasn't been fixed up in any way, I didn't mind a few things being not exactly right and I never got around to fixing them. Here is a list of things you might want to fix.
The drivers side window is cracked and does not roll down. The handle for the drivers side needs to be put back on, it is just lose now and you can use it to open the door. The right taillight is cracked. The brake fluid leaks and I always check the brakes before I leave because if the brake fluid is low the brakes do not work at all.I did mess with the lights a little bit and got them working but I think maybe a wire has came lose and the lights aren't working. The gas meter does not work correctly, since I never really drove it far it didn't matter to me. I think all the other meters work correctly.
That is all I can think of right now, I have kept the truck in my garage since I have owned it. I don't drive it often but if it has been a while since driving I start it and drive around the neighborhood or something. To me the truck runs and drives like a truck of this age probably should, it runs great, steers like it should (no power steering) and the brakes work ok when they have fluid. I think with just a little work you could probably use this as an every day vehicle.
Just one more thing, when I first bought it I had new plugs, wires and a couple more things replaced, can't remember exactly what was done but since it has ran very well. I am not sure about the miles, I think the odometer says 3,000 some miles. I have probably put less than 1,000.00 miles on the truck since I have owned it.
I also just noticed I didn't get a picture of the motor, I will try to add that also. The motor is the original motor that came in the truck, a 6 cylinder, I believe it is called an inline 6 cylinder.
If you are interested I would really like for you to come take a look in person at the truck before buying, I really do not want to ship the truck. I would like for you to look it over in person and make sure you like it first.
