1970 Dodge Challenger T/A Tribute 1974 Additional Info:
Up for sale here is a 1974 challenger that has been completely cloned into a 1970. This not only includes the complete exterior including the grill and tail lights, but also the interior down to the 70 specific dash pad and seat covers. The body on this really nice T/A tribute was restored during the conversion about 5 years ago with new full quarter panels, floor pans, trunk pan, tail light panel, front and rear valance, T/A hood, etc. so as you can see this is a very solid mopar. The last few pics are from when the car was on the rotisserie. It was painted in '70 Green Go single stage urethane with a black vinyl top. It still shines and looks very nice, does have just a couple blemishes that could probably be color sanded and buffed if desired, but most wouldn't notice unless you pointed them out. New weatherstrip, new windshield, rest of glass is in good original condition.
Interior has new door panels, dash pad, headliner, kick panels and carpet. Seat covers aren't new but still in good shape. Rallye gauge cluster looks very nice and has a new tach installed. The clock doesn't work, the fuel gauge sorta works but always reads low. Also has a mechanical engine gauge set installed. The heater has been removed and a clean looking switch panel installed in its place on the dash along with a block off on the firewall. I do have the blower/heater core box to go along with the car if its wanted.
Although the car sports its modest 340 decals, lurking under the hood is 470 CI low deck big block stroker engine. Some specs are
Muscle Motors 400 to 470 forged stroker kitTrick Flow power port 240 CNC aluminum headsComp hydraulic roller XR292HRComp pro magnum roller rockersQuick Fuel 850 atop a mopar M1 intakeMancini Racing aluminum water pump and housingMSD digital 6al with Firecore distributorMancini Racing Denso alternator conversionHemi 6 quart panCeramic 1-7/8" headers exiting into 3" full exhaustRam HD clutch kit and billet flywheel
Engine was installed last summer and now has around 1000 trouble free miles. As you can imagine it's a beast when you want it to be, but is also very street friendly and keeps cool even on hot days thanks to the large aluminum radiator. It runs and sounds great, easily making north a 500 horsepower with plenty of torque to spare.
833 4 speed transmission with hurst pistol grip shifter, 8 3/4 rear with 3.23 suregrip, classic Cragar wheels 15x8 rear with 275/60 Nitto 555's, 15x7 front with 235/60 cooper cobra's. Has power steering, power brakes, and had the front end aligned at the local dodge dealership so it cruises straight on down the road.
A few things to mention the car still needs is a new wiper motor, an antenna and probably a new stereo if you want tunes(the stock AM radio is still in the dash unhooked and don't know its condition) I also planned on removing the seats/carpet again and installing sound deadener but never got around to it, that would help eliminate some unwanted engine/road noise while cruising. I know these are just little things but I understand nobody likes surprises so I try to describe it to the best of my ability, and once again in case you missed it up above this is a '74 cloned into a '70, so it's still titled as a '74. This is a nice and solid car that drives very well and screams classic mopar muscle. I easily have more invested than the buy it now price, mainly just selling due to lack of time to enjoy and wouldn't mind paying off my truck.

If you have very low or no feedback please get in contact with me before bidding. I don't mean any disrespect, just trying to reduce the chance of a non payer wasting everyone's time along with my listing fees. Thanks
