1987 Dodge Ram B150 Shorty Custom,4 speed
1987 Dodge B150 custom van, 6 cyl, around 116k miles & many more to go,used & stored primarily in Florida.
It has a CLEAR Florida TITLE, but is not currently registered. California van originally.Basically Solid
body.Engine Runs great, fires right up. This is not concours quality, it's a driver, but it's priced much
less than the vintage custom vans which have been fetching high prices on Ebay,such as item 222464847013.
Has Power steering, Power brakes, aftermarket AC (needs recharge),good suspension.The van was purchased 22
years ago and it's gotten numerous compliments in the past.It has been sitting a while so keep in mind a
little TLC is suggested before any long distance road trip.
The GOOD:
original engine 116k runs well
4 speed manual OD with floor shifter
- Aftermarket A/c
- Wood Interior
- Sunroof
- Tinted windows
- Rear Seat folds into Bed
- no obvious rust on lower body,which is usually found with 30 yr old vehicle.
= Can be registered as an antique,no inspection & cheaper insurance
The BAD:
- Needs a little cleaning from sitting
- carb accel pump sticky,& remount new electric fuel pump included
- Shifter works, needs adjusting
- Tires fair
- some decal and paint fading
- pinholes from rack/roof vent on the roof/replace/repair wood ceiling panel
- Small Dent in the Passenger Side door area(nothing major)
