1964 Dodge Polara Additional Info:
This is a 1964 Dodge Polara Convertible, with a 440 ci HP engine and automatic trans. I was told that the engine came from a '69 Road Runner. The engine was rebuilt approx. 6 years ago. It starts and runs well, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixKrCkzyfsU(click link to watch video) but has been sitting for 3 years. I purchased this car on eBay in 2013 and drove it for a year; but during that time I was also busy withmoving. So once the plates expired, after that first year, in 2014, I parked the car in the garage and hadn't taken it on the road since. Whoever restored the car did a good job on the engine and upholstery, however, they did cut corners on the body work and electrical. There is body filler in the typical rust locations, and some of the gauges are not working. The power top does go down well on it's own, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhE4I0SHhl4(click link to watch video)but it needs some assistance when coming back up. this could just be a matter of hydraulic fluid. As stated earlier; this car does run and drive, however I would recommend having a skilled person look it over before considering taking it back on the road.
