1993 Dodge Ram 2500 Additional Info:
This is a fine and reliable work truck. The rack is included but the toolbox is not. The truck runs great. It has had some problems with leaks (appears to be oil leakage), but it is totally drive-able. It runs great and starts right up. I have noticed a bit of a delay with the transmission engagement when it's cold out (early morning), parked at an extreme angle, and/or been sitting a few days. It might need transmission work, but again, it runs and drives daily as is.
This truck would make a great work truck or restoration project. The body is relatively undented/straight -- minus the tailgate. That's rough as you can see in the photos (I have more photos upon request; just message me). The truck has some typical superficial rust on the hood, roof and a little on the side panels here and there. The CD player works good and as of right now all of the power features are working, but the P/W & P/L are notorious for repeatedly wearing out on these and needing frequent replacement. The interior is rough, but cleans up pretty well.
The frame has been welded a few times because the steering box has sheared off from the frame. Right now all is good, but I believe the oversize rims and tires are the source of this specific problem. The tires and wheels are not stock and these trucks have weak steering systems from the factory. (I can supply an up close photo of this if needed.)
In any case, the truck cleans up pretty well inside and out. What you see in the pics is what you're getting. The fuel pump was rebuilt about two+ years ago and the truck has had its regular maintenance since I have owned it, which is quite a few years now. The original owner's manual is in the glove box and is included.
If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm very easygoing and open to any and all reasonable bids.
