1991 Dodge Ram 2500 Additional Info:

This is a Beautiful 1991 Dodge W-250 Pickup. Purchased from the original owner. This truck sat to long and must have had dry bearings or something? We drove it to our mechanic and had him check it out. He replaced all the fluids in the rear and front end, transfer case, transmission oil and motor oil. We had it sitting in our yard for about a year when we decided to put some wheels on it so we could drive it, but about a mile away from the tire center the motor started making a knocking noise. We had the wheels put on hoping it was no big deal, air in the fuel or something? we had a mechanic take a look at it and he pulled the oil filter and cut it apart in front of us. The filter had a substantial amount of brass colored filings in it? main bearings? Mechanic quoted us anywhere from 3-10 thousand to repair it. We has it towed and decided that we would put it on eBay and see if a diesel mechanic out there is interested in it. Transmission was just rebuilt at 210374 miles by Action Transmission in Provo Utah on 7/16/2012 cost was 2602.33. Breaks were gone thru by Just Breaks in St. George, Utah. Looks like they replaced front rotors, rear drums, rear axle seals, for 707.68 on 5/02/2012 at milage 209,247. Truck sits with 211,788. Truck has been re painted sometime in its life and has only a few dings. Owner said that the fuel system had been upgraded, Im sure if your a mechanic you will know what he was talking about from the pictures. We installed a new oil filter to make sure the motor is closed up. Truck is in St. George, Utah. I would be willing to take 500$ off the sell price if your interested in the 16.5 steel wheels that were on it, tires on them are rotten.
