1986 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z C/S Additional Info:
Not many of these cars left in this kind of condition. Original condition low miles. Car was garaged or covered its whole life. Not driven in bad weather or the winters, it was always a spare "fun" car that didn't see everyday use. Car is in very good to excellent shape. There are some blemishes and minor scratches here and there but the car is over 31 years old now and it is still in great, well taken care of condition. I showed a lot of these things in the photos.
Car still shines and looks great in all it's 80's style and glory. Definately a time capsule. Gets a lot of attention wherever it goes and is lots of fun to zip around in.
Great for the occasional car show or to just cruise around on a nice sunny day. Car runs great, turbo boosts and car still feels tight and put together. This is certainly from how well maintained and babied the car has been in it's life.
Sunroof is a dealer installed, aftermarket pop-up/removable glass that comes with the original storage bag as well that you can see in the trunk photo.
Interior is in excellent shape with the cloth still looking very good and not worn. Headliner has a little sag to it but not enough to need to be tacked up or anything.
Car runs great, and as far as I know needs nothing. I am not a mechanic by any means but I don't know of anything that needs attention or isn't working properly. I drive the car and it is a blast to drive.
Car has a dent on passenger door about dime sized, and a nick in paint on driver left wheel well edge. (see photos)
Front chin spoiler does has some cracking and damage repaired but is mostly underneath front nose out of sight. (I bought it like this, but it was probably from a curb or something because the front nose is low on clearance).
Tachometer sticks sometimes which is common on these cars but it does work.
I have a lot of history on the car from the original owner and can share any of that.
I have replaced the rear hatch struts for trunk, right front caliper, and left front hub last year. Tires are newer and have about 3k miles on them.
Car is very original and is truly like it was back when new. Not molested, not ripped all apart or gone through and aftermarket replacements. Always maintained and washed and waxed. Car was always taken care of and it shows! Still has original Air Fences installed on car and are in great shape.
Car should be kept in garage and preserved and enjoyed for fun and cruising, not a daily driver...it's too nice and classic for that (in my opinion).
If you have any questions or would like to see more pics let me know and I will try to assist in any way I can.
Car is being sold as is and new buyer is responsible for pick up or arranging and paying for shipping.
