1971 Dodge Challenger RT Additional Info:
1971 Dodge Challenger RT, 340 engine, ALL NUMBERS MATCHING CAR. 727 hydromantic transmission, 8 3/4 original rear. Auto on floor with console. A/C car. Original wheels. The car needs total restoration, engine removed, numbers matching engine, original heads, intake, exhaust manifolds, carb, distributor, motor mounts, radiator, power steering pump, air cleaner, ac and other original engine parts. Review the photos will explain the shape of the body condition, in excellent condition. The car sit most of it's life, low mileage car. The only non original part is the trunk lid, original was not rusted, but damaged. Frame rails in good condition, the previous owner disassembled car for a restoration, health failed and did not get it completed. The floor pans are new and in car, needs welded in, trunk pan should be replaced. The quarter panels, rockers, doors, door post are very solid, a few minor areas on the quarters and a few other locations, but all can be repaired, no need to replace any body panels. Again, car is solid due to low mileage car. Doors open and shut like a new car, no sag, no ware, very solid. The drive shaft is missing, no windshield, needs a new dash pad. Also have interior panels, console, dash, gauges, seats, both front and back. There is no hidden body filler under the yellow paint, the only areas repaired by previous owner is at the premièred spots on the sides. Driver side RT emblem I have it as well. Window trim is inside trunk. Looking down both sides of the car, it is straight, no dents or dings on the sides of fenders, doors or quarters. I explained the car the best I could, the car is being sold as is, if you want to inspect it, please feel free to do so, but I will not hold the car for anyone, first one to commit will be the new owner. I will help box all parts up for shipment, will it all fit in the car, not sure. This car is worth a full original restoration, it's not beat up, primer, dressed up for sale car, what you see is original. Fender tag is on car, I can send photo if your interested. Sold as is, deposit required within 24 hours, no refunds. Please only bid if your serious. Thank you, happy bidding.
