I did drive the car today for the first time since it tried to overheat. I believe the radiator cap is bad or not the correct one and it is letting the coolant out the overflow hose. The car fires right up and drives like new. Also the trunk and floors are solid. This car was recently my daily driver and has many new parts such as calipers, hoses, water pump,,etc. I do think the radiator cap failed and that's what caused it to run hot that one time. It's not leaking antifreeze that I could see and didn't try to get hot today, although it's pretty cold out.
