Selling an original, numbers matching 1979 Dodge Lil Red Express truck.
This is a running and driving truck as seen in videos taken day of listing. However it is not a fly in and drive home truck.
It is however a great restoration candidate due to the fact that it is not a rust bucket. Truck is quite solid.
I have tried to take good photos to indicate the Lil Red's condition. It appears to be unmolested and very original.
I received the original instrument cluster from previous owner that has a broken speedometer needle. (in photo)
The cluster in it now had mileage documented when installed. (paint marker on dash) Missing radio.
Rockers, cab corners, fenders, and floor are solid on this truck, as well as bed cross members and wood retaining strips, etc.
Always fires right up. Drives and stops good.
Wiper motor is working, but wipers need the nylon retainers replaced (common on this era Dodge trucks)
Bed wood and bed side wood is missing. Non-original tailgate. Cracked windshield. Minor dings on body.
Everything else seems original including correct exhaust. elbows that turn up to stacks have been sawsall cut. (like that when I got it)
Was going to simply have them welded back together, but never got to it.
Clear Oklahoma title in hand.
Again, great starting point for a restoration! These trucks are getting harder to find and fetching upwards of $30,000 these days restored. I believe my starting price is reasonable. This is a true no reserve auction. Truck will sell to high bidder.
Serious Buyers only, Please!
