1937 Dodge Sedan Additional Info:

1937 Dodge Sedan. 4 door southern car, extremely good condition for its age. All floors and body solid except trunk floor. Trunk will need a patch. Many parts purchased to revive this vehicle will go with sale. Have new (used) windshield and frame, headlight glass, battery, etc. Car has all new hoses, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor. Has been sitting for many years. Prior to starting, removed cylinder head, inspected, freed up valve train, and replaced head gasket. Had vehicle running off of bottled fuel, as I would suggest removing and cleaning tank prior to its use as well. All else with vehicle is in order. I do not have title or transferable registration for this car. NY DMV only requires vin scratching to get papers. I have had the car for several years and can't seem to find time to restore. Need to clear it out of the garage and would like it to find a good home.
*** I am not interested in selling parts or separating any part of this sale. Vehicle is also for sale locally and can withdraw this auction if no bids have been made.***
***Car is available to come look at if you're local. If you want specific pictures, I'm happy to upload. Feel free to contact me with any questions
***Thank you! I've received a bunch of response from this listing already. Here are some answers to questions I've received:
"What's it need to be driveable?" Is a common question. I honestly don't have the answer as I have only pushed it around the garage and have gotten engine running off bottled fuel. It is an 80 year old car, I assure you it will need normal work for a car of its age. It rolls well and runs, I have not driven it under its own power. I would assume a carb rebuild would not be out of the question. It will need leaf spring shackle hardware on left, minimal. No, you can not drive it home it will need a trailer. Again, it's a clean, very restorable 80 year old car and no reserve on the auction.
I do not have the left taillight housing.
I do have the rear bumper.
The new windshield is not installed currently but does come with the car as well as all the other parts I have accumulated to restore it.
Thank you for looking!
