1960 Dodge Polara Additional Info:

Thank you for looking at my really rare 1960 Polara 4 door hardtop.

When is the last time you saw one ? It took me years to find a buildable 60 Polara, nd then another several years to find the optional washboard and trim to put on it. This auction is for the car and the washboard kit as well. I bought the car with plans of restoring it, ut I just have to many projects and something has to give.

This Polara was sold in Idaho and didn’t leave Idaho until I purchased it. It was owned by an Idaho Congressman that was also a well known farmer.

The good :

Car is complete except for the air cleaner and spare tire.

Motor turns over nicely but I have never tried to start it.

Rolls nicely and all tires have been hold air for months.

Really solid car except for trunk pan. Floor pans are good.

All original drive train including 383 motor.

I have the original owner paperwork that was in glovebox.

The bad :

Windshield is cracked. All other glass is excellent.

Radiator was left outside and it is in bad shape and not useable.

Dent in front bumper on driver side you can see in the pics

Dented fender trim on pass side front fender.

Carb is off bit comes with car.

Needs Trunk Pan. Also rust in rear 1/4s behind tires. One crease in Driver rear 1/4 ( see pics )

All items you do not see in interior pics are in the extra parts. I have a link to hundreds of pics and you get what you see in the pics.

I’m overseas friendly and will help load if you send a transport. I also know some people that ship cars from Houston overseas so I can provide that information for a quote.

The car needs a complete restoration but what a great car to start with !!!!
