May 19, 1969, Mr. F Grimshaw went to his local Dodge dealer, nearby to where he resided in Beautiful Summit New Jersey, he traded in his 1955 Dodge 2 dr hardtop, on the Dodge Coronet you see listed here for auction. The Coronet, never left the small town of Summi, as Main Street was less than 2 miles from his stately home, the miles are correct on this Coronet model 440, odometer reading is 19,251, yes there are less than 20K miles on this original Mopar, it is still riding on two of the original tires in the rear and the spare has never been out of the trunk. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase a low mile original Coronet 440, a great addition to any Chrysler, Dodge collection. I have all original paperwork including: Window sticker, invoice, owner's manual, warranty key fob, key numbers, warranty book, and original Chrysler advertising that was with owners packet, in plastic sleeve.
This Coronet, is the 440 model, it is equipped with, the optional 383V8, 2 BBL, torqueflite trans, and a D91 sure grip differential, radio group, light group, and as noted before still sporting two original 7.75 x14 tires, although at 19K miles and 47 years they are somewhat worn. This rare Mopar is completely rust free, and original, there is a touch up spot about 2 inches by 1 inch on the passenger side fender, the Coronet emblem has the T broken on the drivers side, this car has not been detailed or touched since coming out of the Estate, there is a scratch and the molding on the passenger side front wheel opening is slightly damaged. The bumper guards were added at the Dealer, they are noted on the original invoice, the interior, looks as though it has never been used, beautiful. The AM radio, comes on and plays, the tuner does not move the dial. The original 383 runs great, it should, at 19K miles it is barely broken in. The engine compartment is original as well, this again is not detailed, I did replace the master cylinder, and I have driven the car a few hundred miles.
This is a unique opportunity to own possibly to lowest mile one of these Coronets equipped with the factory 383, please do not hesitate to ask questions, please read the description, look at the pictures carefully, and if bidding be prepared to complete the transaction to buy, if you are the winning bidder. Personal inspections are welcome, all questions are welcome, no negative feedback bidders bids will be honored, if you have 0 feedback you must contact me first or your bid will be rejected. This Coronet is being sold AS IS, No Warranty Either Express or implied, it is currently stored in Eastern Pennsylvania, if you would like to view it in person, or have an agent look at the car. Foreign bidders are welcome to bid, and storage can be worked out, I am going to be liquidating our personal collection of over 175 cars, and this is the start.
Good luck bidding, please read ask, and bid, I have a 100% positive feedback and want to keep it that way. A $1,000 pay pal deposit is require within 24 hours of auction close by winning bidder, and the car must be paid in full within 3 days of winning bid. Thanks
