1987 Dodge Other LE Wagon 4-Door Additional Info:
This car belonged to my dad. I believe it came into our family in 1992 with roughly 67000 miles. It served us well, till some time in late 90s the transmission was replaced and so was the motor. I believe the engine remained a 2.5L from a 1991-2 Dodge Shadow??....(not sure). Sometime in early 2000s, a 1991 Ford Explorer came into the family, and the Aries went for a "happy retirement".
The car was parked in my backyard as a spare....market value at the moment was under a thousand dollars and my dad didn't find the money worth trading for a near perfect shape car, with good motor and transmission. It wasn't the first car we parked in the backyard either..... pretty much every car that served us well, received an honorary placement for our visual entertainment. There's 2 1991 Explorers, '85 Vette and '85 Fiero GT. Pops kept powering up all of them a few times per year till my mom got sick in 2010. Back in 2014 we tried to crank up the Aries, the motor would spin, starter kicked in, but no starting. I believe pop said it was probably the fuel pump, and too much of a hassle for a 78 year old man to go at it.
I recently heard there's some demand for these relics, so if anyone's looking, here's a survivor in pretty good shape. It would definitely need a flat bed to get on its way out. I will present most accurate pics tomorrow. Car's located in Miami, but we can talk. Thanks for reading on this. This is one perfect case of "to the best of my memory" description.
