1959 Dodge Other Sierra Additional Info:
This here is what I would call a neglected survivor. I am admittedly the middle man in this auction and will try and provide as much information as I can. According to the odometer the car has just under 100,000 miles, which I believe to be true based on the overall condition of the car. This car is being auctioned off AS IS and I suggest that you contact me with any questions you may have BEFORE you bid on the vehicle. I will expect a deposit and I am willing to hold the vehicle until payment and/or shipping can be arranged.
Original Washington car retaining its original paint, engine (361 2 bbl) and three speed torqueflite transmission.
The Good:
Runs, drives and stops like a champ. Cold starts on two pumps of the pedal. No smoke and 50-60psi oil pressure.
Original paint with only a few blemishes. (see additional images link)
Rockers and floors are solid except for small soft spots in the front floors. (carpets would need to come out to give more detail)
Trunk well has only surface crust and I am not willing to sacrifice the original liner to get detailed pictures.
Back window works and is in one piece. All door glass is good.
Interior wheel well covers are in exceptional condition.
Interior was redone in the eighties and is presentable, no rips or tears.
All gauges work as does the heater controls and blower.
Headlights, taillights and brake lights function properly.
Front turn signals working.
Two speed wipers function.
High tone horn works.
The Bad:
Car sat outside in the Washington rain too long.
Quarters are rusty and will need attention.
Power steering pump not working.
Passenger side lower fender rusted out.
Passenger side rear door will not open. (Haven't delved into it, latch linkage perhaps?)
Rear tailgate rusted out at the bottom seam. Hinges are solid and door functions fine.
Carpets and headliner will need to be removed (musty rodent smell, inspect floors for rust)
Speedo cable was very recently unplugged by previous owner. (Claimed it was noisy and needed attention)
Scratch in passenger side windshield from faulty wiper.
Glove box liner was removed to accommodate a radio and kick panels hold speakers now. (Radio is not present)
Windshield washer system present but not working.
Rear turn signals are crossed. (?)
Low tone horn not working.

This is an auction. There is no "buy it now" price. If the auction ends and the modest reserve is not met, then i will reassess. Thanks and good luck!
