1954 Dodge Other Additional Info:
1954 Dodge Royal 2 door V8. This is a very nice driver quality car. It has the Red Ram Hemi V8 with and automatic transmission. It does not need anything to be enjoyed or taken to a few car shows. It gets more attention than a lot of my other cars mainly because it's different, not your more common 50's Chevrolet or Ford.
1954 was also the first year for the PowerFlite two-speed automatic transmission. Chrysler’s first true automatic —and for a new, full-time power steering unit. With its new compression, the Royal was able to establish 198 new AAA stock car records at Bonneville, holding more AAA records than any standard American car had ever held. Dodge also supplied the Indy 500 pace car for 1954. In 1954, the Red Ram overhead valve V8 produced 220 lb-ft of torque at 2,000 rpm and 150 hp.
I'm looking to sell this car before winter to get back some space in my garage. The car is located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, but it did not spend it's life here. It was in a car museum prior to my purchasing it a few years ago. Thanks for looking.
