Up for sale is a 1976 Dodge D300. This is a 1 owner Texas Truck, 100% rust free. The truck has original black paint with great natural patina. We have done a minor cosmetic restoration to the truck in order to get it back on the road. The truck comes with period correct Weld Racing Alcoa Duals with good tires. I purchased the truck from my transmission mechanic who purchased the truck new in 1976 to daily drive and haul his race car. He stated that he rebuilt the rear end, transmission, front suspension and engine before he parked it in 99 when he purchased his 99 Cummins Dodge.
The Big Block 400 Mopar Engine was modified with forged pistons and an RV cam. We added an aluminum Holley Dominator intake and 4 barrel 750 Holley Double Pumper. The 727 transmission shifts great. The truck makes great power and has great throttle response. It steers, rides and brakes very well. The power assist steering makes it very easy to drive.
The truck has some minor issues but it is an excellent candidate for a fun project that you could drive. The issues include the gauge cluster circuit board is damaged and the gauges are not working. The clearance lamp lenses should be replaced. There is some minor damage to the bed behind the right rear bumper. It has a dealer added cruise control installed but it is not hooked up. All minor issues but I just want to be up front with the add.
