HUGE PICTURES BELOW! please click on each picture for an extreme blow up Here we have a wonderful example of an upgraded, as cost no object, 1973 Pantera. Started with the well kept, low mile original #4604 Pantera and then taken to the next level for care free modern motoring. Everything works! AC is modern day cold, heat is hot, gauges and radio/speakers all work. Basically it is an extremely well maintained and lightly / rightly modified late 73 "L" that has brand new billet machined Wilkinson 17" wheels with new Michlein Pilots 245 and 335, and a new ANSA 45 degree tip exhaust with big tube ceramic coated headers. This Pantera has great sound, and is a torque monster. The engine is numbers matching Cleveland 351 that has been blueprinted and balanced by McLaren Engineering in Michigan. ZF transaxle shifts very smoothly and the last 2 gears are both overdriven. All copper oversize engine radiator with electronic fan speed control, aluminum AC radiator. SS coolant lines, QA1 adjustable coil overs, pre L bumpers, 4 point harness with brace, adjustable rear brace, under coated and cosmolined chassis. Lowered floor pans to accommodate people over 6 ft., C4 seats installed, original seats are included in the sale. Excellent paint. Org shop manuals, and receipts, ( 20 lbs) org. seats and many spares, clear tittle, stored in Santa Fe NM. The De Tomaso world is indeed small. This car first came up on my radar as being owned by "Indy Dave" McManus, who naturally lived in Indianapolis. I got to pay him a visit once and got a ride in the car--it seemed terrific. He sold it to a buyer who lived close to me, who was an old man who bought it sight unseen, perhaps never having even been in a Pantera. He took possession of the car and then discovered he couldn't get into it! He quickly sold it across the country, to Arthur. The wheels that were on it were, to be kind, rather vile. Arthur wanted some Campagnolo replica wheels but good ones are hard to find. By coincidence a friend in Monterey had a set of Wilkinson wheels and wanted to return his car to stock configuration, so I brokered the sale and the wheels then crossed the country. That's what is on it now. Please note I have been on eBay since 2001 and have sold collector grade only cars to owners all across the globe. My collection is ever changing and evolving. This is a truly wonderful Pantera, don't take my word for it, come and see or have it professionally inspected. I have 100% positive feedback. Call me if you prefer at 214 415 7373.
