1931 DeSoto SA Additional Info:

An all original Deluxe model DeSoto SA 4 door sedan.with only 37300 original miles. The body is rust free including the underside (some surface rust as it has never been painted). The body is painted three different colors with a cream pin stripe and the seats and door panels have been recovered as original otherwise the car is as built new. I bought the car from the owners estate last year as he only drove it to dinner on Sunday according to his widow. He kept the car running but let a few systems fail, o I repaired everything to original quality when I bought.and replaced any broken parts with proper original parts. I also had the eight window frames and dash wood grained as it came from the factory in burl walnut. All the window felts have been replaced too. I had an OEM wiring harness fabricated and rewired the car. Send the brake shoes and wheel and master cylinders to be totally rebuilt. Found an original "OGGA Horn" for the car, ebuilt the light switch, he fuel pump and bought OEM ignition switch/coil for the car. The car now runs and drives as good as new. The body (other than dent in driver front fender) is perfect, ut the paint does show age up close. The interior is nice but again not perfect. but ever strap, ord, oot rest etc is there and functional. I am retired and not able to keep up with all my toys now, o if you like a great and rare antique car for shows/parades this luxury model 1931 DeSoto is ready to take you there.
