1949 DeSoto Custom Additional Info:
1949 Desoto Custom with fluid drive. The car appears to be mosty complete down to the flying lady on the hood. There does not appaer to be too much rust. Noticed a hole in the spare tire well. The car appears to have been repainted at some time. The driver's side windshield is broken as is the driver's door glass. Replacement glass is available.
This is a non-runner, the engine is stuck. The spark plugs were removed and mystery oil added to the cylinders but no attempt has been made as of yet to see if the engine will turn over.
All trim is on the car with the exception of the rear fender moldings that are inside of the car. The hub caps are on the rear seat. The vehicle has the radio delete option but has a clock. There is an ignition key and no key for the doors. The truck opens by just pulling up on the handle.
The car will roll and the brakes do not work. This appears to be a good restoration project as there is something to work with, it is not all rusted away with a lot of parts missing.
There is no warranty or other guarantees. The vehicle is sold as is where is. Vehicle pickup is at the expense of the buyer. The car is also listed locally so I resever the right to end the auction at any time.
