1981 DeLorean DMC-12 Additional Info:

This car is in very good condition externally. The body is nearly perfect with one tiny bb size ding in a panel and some brush marks from where a previous owner probably used a metal scrub pad to clean the car on the roof. That is only 2-3 very small areas. Other than that the stainless steel is in great shape. The front and rear fascias have the usual cracking and pealing and could use a fresh coat of paint.
Mechanically the car is running and driving. The car sat for 2 years so it took a lot of new parts to get it running again. New fuel distributer, frequency valve, all new fuse panel, new control pressure relay, new fuel pump and filter, and more. The engine is running a little rich but probably just needs a timing adjustment or new plugs.
Manual Transmission shifts good, clutch feels good and the car drives straight.
I would LOVE to keep this car. I've never seen a car get more attention than this one. Everyone loves and recognizes it. So cool.
I've also got a ton of documents. A full mechanical manual, service bulletin Manuel, wiring diagram, and more. The aftermarket CD player does not work and the power windows are hit and miss.
