1979 Datsun 280ZX with 31,111 original miles. This is a real two seater.

5 speed manual transmission.

Rack and pinion.

4-wheel disc brakes.

I purchased this car from an estate sale and as such, I do not have maintenance/history for the car. I believe I am the 2rd owner. I have driven the car 521.6 miles since bringing the car back to life in 2015.

As a 37 year old car it has several dings and some rock chips on the hood. There appears to have been some right quarter panel damage that was repaired and repainted. I do not see any rust on the car except some minor rust on the steel portion of both front and rear bumpers. The aluminum (visible portion) on the bumpers seems fine. The passenger side door does have a small dent as the pictures show. Everything on the car works, warning lights, flashers, gauges, tail lights, headlamps, stereo, etc., except the cassette tape player. The engine sometimes has a slight hesitation between 2,000 and 2,500 RPM and then runs strong right to red line. I believe this to be an issue with the vacuum and or mechanical advance for the distributor. I have to say it is fun to drive.
