Up for sale is a1963 Datsun 312 Bluebirdproject car. This is a solid, very complete example of the classic 310-series Bluebird — the upright, charming early Datsun sedan that helped put Nissan on the map in export markets.

These cars are getting harder to find, especially ones this complete. It’s a great foundation for a restoration, resto-mod, or period-correct build.

• Missing onlyone tail light(left and right are the same part — can be reproduced with an Alumilite casting kit using the remaining light as a mold)

This is a true project, not a running/driving car. It has the typical needs you’d expect from a 60+ year-old Japanese classic, but the completeness makes it a much more realistic restoration than most early Datsuns you’ll find.

About the 1963 Datsun 312 Bluebird:

• Last of the 310/311/312 series (production ended 1963)

• 1.2-liter OHV inline-4 (E-1 engine) needs rebuilding but has a 1.5L engine currently installed. Ran several years ago but not started recently.

• Column-shift 3-speed manual

• Compact, simple, and historically important early Japanese sedan
