1978 Datsun 280Z survivor. 4-speed factory AC car. I'm the third registered owner of this Z. This is an extremely original high desert car with one repaint and only 87,000 miles. Never had ethenol fuel in it. It was originally light blue metallic and was repainted a very long time ago. The paint is real "patina" and shows some of the original blue and grey primer coming through in spots. It's been completely buffed out and it's bright and looks great, people really love this car in person. No rust except very minor bubbling in the body. Clean hatch. It had some typical rust in the battery tray and front fender wells which was repaired, no structural rust. Original seat upholstery has tears (original OEM covers are available), if it weren't for the seats the original interior would be an 8.5 out of 10. New full dash cap. Nearly everything works, even the door buzzer, map light and cigarette lighter. The only things that don't work are the dome light, (just a bulb), the AC needs recharged, the ignition switch is a little sticky but works fine if you get the key in the right spot (a brand new ignition switch will come with the car), and the tach is a little sticky. Original space saver spare, original jack, original tool kit and wheel chocks. Original trunk pan, original floor pans. No mechanical issues, reliable daily driver. Lots of new parts including a recent clutch job. I would definitely trust this car to drive long distance. Only selling because I live out of the country most of the year and I unfortunately can't bring it with me otherwise I wouldn't let it go. Enkei 92 wheels with very good tires, I also have the original 280z steel wheels and hubcaps in good condition with good tires that can go with the car for the right price, as well as a 240z rear bumper that needs a little straightening. Clean title in my name with current Washington registration.
