The Datsun 280ZX 10th Anniversary Edition was a special 1980 model produced to celebrate 10 years of the Z-car. Only 3,000 were made, with 2,500 in a black and gold two-tone paint and 500 in a red and black two-tone, this is #605 of #3000. These cars were based on the upscale 280ZX and came with premium features like commemorative decals, a gold Z hood badge, blacked-out exterior trim, headlight washers, T-tops, and special gold or black alloy wheels.

Currently residing in Southren California. The Z stillequipped with it’s original in-line 6 cylinder engine / automatic transmission, showing 99k original mileage that are said to be accurate. Hasn’t been used much over the past few years, we installed a fuel pump, oil change & filter, along with new spark plugs. The Z starts up running & driving well. Engine sounds good, with no smoking nor overheating issues. Like most old cars tends to be cold blooded when started, soIwarm it up a few mins & it’s ready to be driven.
Overall the condition of the Datsun is considered to be in good condition. Remaing most of its older original paint, so expect normal but minor wear as some areas that have been touched up, some fading in some areas, clear peeling towards rear trunk lid, chips & ect.. Interior appearing to be in good shape for age with the bucket seats having been redone. This is not aextremely low mileage museumquality grade Z, butI'dconsider it to be in nice driverqualitycondition. Body is in good shape, solid including floors & jambs. Lights work,air conditioner turns on, electric side mirrors work, radio turns on but antenna is loose, power windows along with rear wipers work as well. Gas gauge does not work. Runs well around town, I'm surethere's a few minor things that can be done to itmechanically ifplanning to drive it as a daily. If asking noIwouldn'trecommenddriving a older car like this across country.
