1969 DATSUN FAIRLADY ROADSTER

This was the car that is now called the Nissan Z. This car was imported from Japan by the original owner. I am the second owner not counting his grandson who sold it to me as a basket case. I had the car restored as a “restomod” most of the restoration was done to its original condition except for the 2004 engine, transmission, computer, dashboard, master brake and clutch cylinder from a Nissan Xterra and the wheels from a 280 Z. The car runs great, very very fast and reliable. The car will burn rubber in first gear if your not careful. Here is a list of all thenew partsthat are on the car: battery, tires, paint, convertible top, upholstery, carpet, fuel pump in the tank from a 1999 Altima), rear brake shoes, and rear brake cylinders, master brake cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, fuel injectors, oxygen sensors, fuel filters, Bluetooth, speakers, chrome headers, steering wheel, electric fan and aluminum radiator, thermostat and radiator hoses, door, window, top and trunk seals, locking gas cap, The engine is a 2.4 liter KD24DE known for its reliability, strength, and horsepower. The OBD code reader is located under the dash for easy access, all gauges work as they should. The car comes with 2 sets of keys. The vehicleis not new andcan be expected to require greater upkeep and repairthan a new car.The car issoldas-is, with no warranties, expressed, written or implied. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. The negatives on the car are as follows: the check engine light is on due to the emission stuff from the fuel recovery system not being connected but it does not affect the drive-ability of the car, I just have not been able to find a local guy to permanently delete the codes from the ECM. Due to a disagreement with the paint shop the final clear coat was never buffed out, the windshield has 4 stone chips.
