This is a late build (10/74) vehicle so is sometimes referred to as a 1974 1/2. So it shares some parts with the earlier 240Z and the later 280Z. I've owned it since 1977 and it's taken me across the country at a high rate of speed many times. Other than the Cragar wheels and missing rear bumper the car is all original or had OEM replacement parts. The car has sit under a shelter for 15+ years. It was running well when I parked it. I ran a compression check before parking and all cylinders were from 160 to 167 psi. I squirted WD40 into the cylinders before replacing the plugs. The car was Z-Barted when new but the "tin worm" was working on it and so I parked it until I "got around" to restoring it. I'm now too old and have physical problems so I figured somebody out there could use it for a restoration or source of original parts. The glass is original and in good shape. It has the original spare tire and wheel, jack, jacking tools in the pouch, and the wheel chock. During the time I owned it I put in a new clutch, exhaust, struts, and brakes. The tires have lots of tread and hold air but are obviously old. Rust is evident in the usual areas of parts of the frame rails, rocker panels, lower fenders, hatch latch area, and driver's floor. The hood is in good shape with no dents. More photos available upon request. The odometer shows 60 some thousand but was disconnected for a while and mileage is likely more like 90k. All instrumentation save the clock was working when parked as was the heater, wipers, lights, etc.
