1965 Datsun Other Additional Info:
The '60-'65 320's were the first Datsun mini truck import, but '65 trucks were only made for a few months that year..and was the only year they came with a stock 4-speed on the floor!
Good shape for its age and almost completely stock
It drives straight, brakes well and fires up immediately, has been retrofitted (with port and polish) a Weber 32/36 progressive (electric choke) carb upgrade that really cuts all 60 hp loose!
-Runs great, all lights work, points are good with recent plugs and wires, cap/ rotor.
-New radiator, new water pump, all new brake and clutch master cylinders with new lines and brake cylinders.
-I have cut out the floorboard cancer and welded in a clean 320 floor pan section. Rust proofed, primed and epoxy painted entire floorboard (gloss black) and bed (cream).
- New led taillights (have oem's that come with), repainted grill and top (cream).
-Low mile tires on stock steelies with moon caps..Have oem super-flat spare in rear of truck
-New large aluminum fuel cell
-New washington "collector" plates. Has reprint "65" year tabs
She comes with:
-New OEM Datsun 320 Owners manual (very nice re-print)
-New OEM blinker assembly (blinkers work but not oem switch)
-New (correct) front and rear wheel bearings, complete set.
-New front and rear windshield rubber (seals)-Spare chrome grill, straight hood with emblems, fenders with trim
-IMPOSSIBLE to find OEM working ignition switch with tear-drop door locks and matching key!
-Spare set of '65 1/2 ton leaf spring packs- in case you want to bring it back to original height..has been lowerd slightly.
Or have them de-arched and go even lower!
-Stock underdash tray, headlight bezels, indicator lamp lens, rear tail lights and radiator (oem), spare brake hubs and a ton of various smaller components.
Always garaged since Ive owned it, clean title in my name.
This is a running, driving 1965 project Datsun 320 with great bones for restore. Most of hard work has been done, could use some more body work, has some quirks (wiper system needs love, have spare unit, heater core by-passed) but everything else works, has great patina and drives well down the road. Would make a killer ride with a transplant or continue driving while you restore!
