GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1971 Datsun 240z for your consideration. This is an exceptionally 1971 Datsun finished in Green over a Tan interior. It's powered by the original numbers matching 2.7L I6 engine with the E31 head paired to the 4-speed manual transmission. The restoration was completed about three years back, no expenses were spared during this process. Everything on this vehicle works, including the original AM radio, clock, power antenna, lights, horn, door locks, heater,... wipers and all other factory equipment. This is a really fun car to drive and they always have a faithful following of enthusiasts driving the price of them upwards. Please call or email for more details! The Nissan S30 (sold in Japan as the Nissan Fairlady Z and in other markets as the Datsun 240Z, then later as the 260Z and 280Z) was the first generation of Z GT two-seat coupes, produced by Nissan Motors, Ltd. of Japan from 1969 to 1978. Prior to 1970, Japanese cars in America were viewed as cheap economy cars that you hoped would inexpensively get you from point A to point B. However, the Datsun 240Z helped change popular opinion with bold styling and outstanding performance. It went from 0 to 60mph in 7.8 seconds and had a top speed of 125mph which was better than the Porsche 911 Turbo and Jaguar E-type while having a sticker half the price of the latter two.
