1977 Datsun Z-Series Additional Info:
Well, it is about a million degrees here in Arizona this week. So before I pull this car into a million pieces and list everything here on eBay, I will see if anybody is up for a neat restoration project first. And save me from sweating my butt off. At least for another week. This is a 1977 Datsun 280Z. Factory 5 speed transmission. This has sat in the hot dry Arizona sunshine in Southern Arizona for a long, long time..This is a major project. It is a builder, It would be great for someone with a rusted body. If you got T boned by a semi, this would be the ticket. If you want to build a Z from the ground up, this is the way to go. If you think you will drive this home next week or next month, or even next year,. think again. This Z is missing parts and pieces, It has been chewed on by rodents over the years. The electric will need work. Thereare no fuel injectors, and other parts are missing in the engine bay. The front part of the spare box is rusted thru. but the restof the body is a beauty in the rust department. In the shiny paint department, it is World War 3. The paint is mostly burned off. Looks like it was repainted once sometime in the distant past the original Datsun Green.Frontleft fender took a hit from something or other while in storage. Fender should be able to be pulled and straightened up no problem. Lower front lower valance got punched by a curb or something and pushed back to the lower radiator support. Tried to showboth of these in pics. This is a very straight clean original unplayed with car. Even has the original factory exhaust system including the guards in the rear end of it. The engine is not turning over right now. I did not do much other than put a socket on the crank and give it a pull and got nothing. The injectors being out and the engine not sealed over the years in storage probably lead to rebuild time.Or drop your good running engine from your rusty T boned Z and go. Then put your nice interior in it and you will be headed in the right direction with this car, This car has a lot of issues, but it has a lot going for it. Rustfree as can be. Mostly original, unplayed with 280Z with a factory 5 speed tranny. I travel around the West Coast with my truck and trailer and might be able to get it to you or close. And can arrange trucking to Long Beach California shippers for overseas buyers for $300. Clean straight title.
