1980 Datsun 280ZX One Owner, Original California Car

Up for sale is an one owner, very rare 1980 Datsun 280ZX with 97989 documented original miles. This incredible well preserved automobile was purchased new in California and spent the majority of its life there. The original owner passedaway recently and I have been askedby the family to assist in the sale of this 280ZX.

Now for the particulars

Finished in brown metallic the paint is all original with the exception of the left headlamp bucket. The roof is the worst paint on the car as age has taken its toll. There is 4 small surface rust spots around the windshield chromemolding. Also, there is a minor dent behind the RR tire down low on the quarter panel. The interior is extremely clean, very nice and original with the exception of the center armrest cover which is worn.

As far as the mechanicals the 6 cylinder engine mated with the 5 speed transmission perform very well with no issues. Also, to be noted there are no leaks or strange noises from drive train.

Recent servicing done includes the following items serviced or replaced:

Air Cleaner

Battery

Fuel Filter

Hatch Supports

Ignition Coil

Oil Change and filter

Left Power Window Motor

Spark plugs

Spark plug wires

All 4 brake assemblies are in very good condition. Exhaust system is in very good condition. Tires are older but no driving problems.

There are two items that do not work, the air conditioning system will need attention and the power antenna does not work.

The entire undercarriage including the floor pans is in excellent condition, no issues with rust, also under the doors is very clean. This is one incredible 280ZX for 36 years old, this is a rare find and what an opportunity to find one on this condition.
