For your consideration: this 1936 Cord Phaeton which is very complete (98 plus) and has had a lot of the hard work done. The owner who has passed had the body work done, on a rotisserie, to very high standards. The Trans- axle has been rebuilt with the help of a Cord expert in Transaxles. The owner purchased all new bearings throughout the car. The car sits on new tires and heavy-duty wheels with reproduction hub caps (per the owner). The bumpers, half the top irons and a lot of little things have been re-plated. The car comes with new wiring harness, rubber parts, top iron rivet sets, and many small parts purchased from J K Howell and Stan Gilland. The water pump has been rebuilt, along with starter and generator. The engine has been “ remanufactured “by the previous owner . There is cross hatching in the cylinders. There are new reproduction heads for the engine. The car has a correct Philco open car radio as well as a correct heater. There are correct Lockhead brakes and your choice of correct drive shafts. There is a new correct exhaust system and the exhaust manifolds have had new porcelain. The interior of the car is there for patterns and the seats could be used as is. Many of the small items have been restored and reassembled. Correct lights horn relay and gauges are all there.

What needs to be Done? The rest of the chrome will need to be plated, Wind shield frame, side window frames and other half of top irons. A new top will be needed
