1941 Graham Hollywood cord Additional Info:
This is a wonderful example of the iconic 1941 Graham Hollywood. It was completely restored in 2005 and has won several concourse first prizes. There is absolutely no rust, the paint is gorgeous, and the body is straight as a laser. The rare Yosemite Green and Mist Green two-tone paint is complemented by the green leather interior.
Mechanically the car is sound with new brakes, completely new and rebuilt fuel system, and new water pump. The supercharged straight six Continental engine runs strong and smooth. It is a pleasant surprise to experience the added power provided by the supercharger at higher RPM.
This a great show car and a fun and reliable road car.
You may notice a similarity to the 1936 Cord 810 sedan because the body of this car was stamped from the Cord dies which were acquired after Cord went out of business in 1938. Unlike the Cord, the Hollywood has rear wheel drive and therefore a shorter hood.
The car is for sale locally and may be withdrawn if sold.
