1979 Cord Speedster -- Additional Info:
One of the sleekest cars ever produced. The original boattail speedster sell in the $700000 price range. This one was factory built by California Custom Coach. Less than 2500 miles on the odometer. This one has a far better fit and finish then anyone I've ever seen even close to this price range. Built on a full size Ford chassis and uses Ford running gear. Has big 460 engine and heavy duty C-6 trans. Anyone that can maintain a Ford can maintain this car. The fiberglass is exceptionally straight. The paint is laid out with a smooth glossy finish. Chrome is excellent. The wire wheels sparkle like new. Big fat radial whitewalls look new. Has chrome headlights and Auburn taillight lenses like the original. Has vintage spotlights. The interior is impeccably done. Upholstery looks perfect has burgundy piping. Very nice carpet with sewn edges and matching floor mats. Has a beautiful set of vintage Auto Meter gauges and a polished wood deluxe steering wheel on a tilt column. The Lokar floor shifter looks like the original. The underside and motor compartment are respectable. It does have a convertible top and side curtains but like the original is a little awkward to install. It also has a tonneau cover that's much easier to snap in place if needed in a hurry. This car runs drives and functions excellent. It's meant to be used- auto trans power steering and brakes has stereo. It will turn heads anywhere it goes!
